Menu Plan Monday

Groceries (food and household staples) were $148.00 this week. This
included a lot of fresh produce, plus treats for Superbowl Sunday that we would normally not buy.

Breakfasts: (the teens choose what they want and make their own)

Raisin Bran (one 20oz. box)
bagels & cream cheese
eggs
homemade oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar (we will eat this 4 out of the 7 mornings)

DINNERS:

Monday (grocery day):
Tacos - ground beef with added re-fried beans (for protein and to stretch the meat!) Hard & Soft shells with all the toppings.

Tuesday:
Roast chicken, potatoes (most likely these will bake along side the chicken) and corn

Wednesday:
Meatloaf (meatloaf mix was on sale this week!), mashed potatoes and green beans

Thursday: Beef (stew beef - cubed) and mushrooms, egg noodles and broccoli

Friday (homeschool co-op day):
Homemade pizzas (the bread machine will make the dough and we'll fix the pizza's in the evening)

Saturday: Breakfast - Homemade Belgian waffles and fried bacon. We use our Belgian waffle maker for the thickest, yummiest waffles!

Dinner - Lite polish keilbasa and rice

Sunday (Church and Super-bowl!):
Lunch - Spaghetti and garlic bread (we have this every Sunday because it's quick to fix after church plus I never have to "think" about what we're going to have when we get home.)
Super-bowl munchies - buffalo chicken-wings (baked in oven), veggies and dip, tortilla's and salsa. 7up and root beer (soda is special treat for kids)
Menu Planning truly makes me happy because I don't have to think about dinner until next week! Yay!
